I met Derek Olsen a few years ago when I took his Communiversity class on budgeting, and liked him immediately. He is very approachable, friendly, and eager to share his experiences with others. Since then, he has gone on to become an author and speaker, and now has his own podcast, which he co-hosts with his wife Carrie. While not a geek-oriented podcast, I wanted to share his story here, in support of another local Kansas City podcaster. Read on!

What made you want to launch the podcast?
We wanted to help other couples navigate finances by telling our own story.

Once a week (mostly).

Relatable and encouraging topics on money and relationship.

What do you love about your show?
We love sharing our story and what we are learning and getting feedback from listeners saying that we have helped them talk about money in their relationship.

We hope to continue the show for as long as we feel like we have something useful to say.
