With a background in website administration, technical support, and social media, I am all about empowering women to pursue interests and careers in technology. I’m proud to say my daughter is similarly geeky, with a passion for pretty much all forms of technology, and a plan to get her degree in cyber security. So when I discovered Jennifer Wadella’s Kansas City Women in Technology, I immediately connected with them and started sharing their events on our Geek Girl Brunch-Kansas City Twitter feed.
With partners like Cerner, Google Fiber, KC STEM Alliance, and Intouch Solutions, KCWiT is a technology powerhouse in Kansas City. Read on to learn more about them, and look for posts on their CoderDojoKC, Coding & Cupcakes, and Coding & Cocktails programs in the future!
